How can I bring Africa Jam to my school or community?
Africa Jam has two options for impacting schools and communities.

  1. School visits: To fund and organize a one-day workshop facilitated by trained Africa Jam staff at your school, community center, place of worship, etc., contact Jacky Hess at 082 895 0024 or email us at africa_jam@iafrica.com.
  2. Africa Jam site program: Africa Jam is working to partner with communities throughout the Western Cape, South Africa and the wider African continent to bring its life-saving youth intervention model to more teens.

When developing an additional Africa Jam site, the organization commits to providing training, mentoring and administration. It relies on local communities to fund a local community team lead position (generally R1,500 to R3,000 per month) to ensure the site's ongoing success.
