Our Impact
Africa Jam is making a measurable difference in the lives of historically disadvantaged children in South Africa. Evidence of this success includes:
- Increasing the number of children served by more than 300 percent in six years.
- Partnering with more than 50 schools and adding more than 20 schools to its network of service.
- Receiving the South Africa Department of Education endorsement in 2004 for excellence in after school programming.
- Reaching more than 10,000 young people in 2006.
- Facilitating Africa Jam activities in 2006 including holiday clubs, camps, after-school programs, creative arts festivals and more.
