One hundred percent of Africa Jam’s funding comes from the donations of corporations, faith-based organizations, foundations and individuals. In order to expand the reach of Africa Jam to even more South African teens, we need the continued support of our donors.
Corporate, foundation and individual gifts will help Africa Jam expand its work by providing practical tools like:
- Salaries for youth leaders who currently are full-time volunteers living below the poverty line
- An Africa Jam bus and van to provide safe, reliable transportation for youth and leaders
- Laptop computers to allow the staff to develop curriculum, schedule performances and events and stay connected
- Safe office space to allow the Africa Jam staff to coordinate its leadership
- Sound equipment to allow Africa Jam musicians to perform their work
