Our Focus
Africa Jam serves youth ages 9-18 and their communities in some of the most economically disadvantaged communities in South Africa’s Cape region.  Young people in these areas regularly encounter violence, hunger, drug use, and the perils of HIV/AIDS.  They need help building self-esteem, developing a Christ-inspired identity and establishing a promising future.

Our Programs
Africa Jam’s five staff members use over 200 volunteers to reach approximately 13,000 youth per annum both directly and indirectly. We are a registered non-profit organization in both the United States and South Africa. Our organization serves youth through three core programs, including:

Faith Enrichment: Africa Jam hosts weekly small groups in exposing young people to the Gospel and a more positive future.  Africa Jam also offers camps and retreats, providing fun, safe, Christian experiences for hundreds of youth annually.

Social Upliftment: Africa Jam's leadership programs empower young people to improve their community.  Regular after school programs and workshops inspire and equip young people to live healthy and productive lives.  Africa Jam is committed to developing leaders through its social upliftment initiatives.

Arts & Education:  Africa Jam uses music training and fine art to foster the God-given talents of the young people it serves.  It provides regular after school programs and holiday experiences to provide artistic and educational opportunities to young people.

Our Impact
Africa Jam is making a measurable difference in the lives of historically disadvantaged children in South Africa.  Evidence of this success includes:
·       Increasing the number of children served by more than 300  percent in 10 years.
·       Adding more than 50 schools to its network of service.
·       Building a youth center to provide a safe environment for after school programs.
