Vacations with a Purpose

Vacations with a Purpose

Africa Jam's Vacations with a Purpose program offers a unique opportunity to experience the exotic beauty and diverse culture of South Africa while serving at Africa Jam Camp.  Because this trip is more than a vacation, you will get an inside perspective on the culture as well as build life enriching relationships with local South Africans. Vacations with a Purpose excursions are led by individuals who maintain a faith-based approach and have enduring connections with the Africa Jam ministry.

If you support the Africa Jam ministry, this is the perfect opportunity to see first hand what you have helped create in South Africa for thousands of youth.  It is a powerful experience.

Why Cape Town, South Africa?

Cape Town, South Africa is known for its vibrant culture, white sandy beaches, fantastic vineyards, safaris, fine dining, five-star wine and luxury accommodations.

The Vacations with a Purpose trip allows you to experience it all. Travelers build solid relationships with the Africa Jam ministry and its staff, making your experience more like visiting friends, than a detached “tour.”  Vacations with a Purpose is an exotic vacation to the most Southern tip of the African continent, but it is more than that.    It is a faith-affirming experience that connects you to dynamic Christians living in Africa through your shared experience serving Africa Jam youth.

What will my experience be like?

Each trip is designed to accommodate the unique group that attends.  Travelers attend Africa Jam Camp for five days, from the January 5-9 2009.  Other adventures include:
